Waldorf Inspired Springtime Flower Faerie
Meet Violet, our Waldorf Inspired Springtime Flower Faerie, and she is such a favourite project to make at this time of year!
She’s a gorgeous little flower faerie… perfect for a seasonal table or as a story telling prop. She’d also make a gorgeous gift, and if you make the small size she would be perfect for some doll house play.
One of the things I love about this project is it’s so versatile- you can create a smaller version with a formed face or you can increase the pattern (on a photocopier) to make a larger story doll. (You might like to check out the The Story Doll Workshop if you are keen to craft a Story Doll sized Violet). You can also make a simpler version without the formed face and arms – there are lots of versions depending on how confident you are feeling!
My Violet has wings and a little green felted cap too! Have some fun and let your imagination run wild crafting little accessories for your springtime flower faerie!
