Imperfectly Patched Scissor Case
Last month in the Sewing Circle, we worked on a sweet patchwork scissor case for the Imperfectly Patched Scissor Case project! I’ve been wanting to make a scissor case for a long while to keep them safe and to go along with the Imperfectly Patched Needle Book and Imperfectly Patched Pin Cushion.
This case is my favourite combination of patchwork and beautiful embroidery in a technique I call “Imperfect Patching”. It’s the perfect project to do as you sit in the sun (or somewhere cosy) and enjoy some quiet time to yourself.
This project would make a beautiful gift for a special sewing friend and, of course, I encourage you to make one for yourself! I also encourage you to embrace your mistakes and imperfections – just make up your stitches as you go along and give your creative spirit freedom to play!
I’d love to teach you to make a Waldorf Inspired Patchwork Scissor Case for yourself (or for a gift!).
