Make a little birthday birdie with me!

These make treasured little birthday gifts for children in your playgroup, childhood or kindergarten. I was making these little birdies for our school playgroup last year and each time I made one, I remembered the satisfaction and magic little projects offer!

They also make a gorgeous addition to the Spring nature table (hung on some branches) and can be used in storytelling.…+ are also a wonderful project for little sewers! (5 years +)

The inspiration for this project was a birthday birdie that our playgroup leader (Ebba Bodame ✨), gave to my girls over a decade ago to celebrate their birthdays….which they still have.

…My little boy brought me flowers from the garden that he said would be perfect for these birdies 🥰

I loved playing around with the colours of these badges & the gorgeous silk ribbons. Such a fun way to infuse a little more magic into birthday celebrations.
